OCTAFX CHAMPION DEMO CONTEST, ROUND 69: I CAME, I SAW, I CONQUERED!

Round 69 of the OctaFX Champion Demo Contest has now finished.

Congratulations to four more traders who share the prize fund of 1000 USD this month!

  • 1st place with the award of 500 USD goes to Humayoon Sultan from Pakistan

  • 2nd place with the award of 300 USD goes to Indra Lesmana from Indonesia

  • 3rd place with the award of 100 USD goes to Rifat Aldina from Indonesia

  • The runner-up, Dadang Juhanda from Indonesia, receives 100 USD

Our new winners expressed their feelings and thoughts on the last round and revealed the key factors in their success. Find out more in our interview with the best traders in Round 69 of the OctaFX Champion Demo Contest.

1ST PLACE: Humayoon Sultan FROM PAKISTAN

This is amazing for me because I have tried so many times to become a champion, and now I did it, so I am very happy! Although did not spend a lot of time in the contest, I traded only when I felt it was the time to open a position.

My strategy is working on trend after checking the market situation, and then I open an order. I use technical analysis and following the trend. It was Japanese Yen that has given me a very large profit in trading with trend.

I believe that becoming a good trader depends on your approach and attitude to trading. In my opinion a couple of months is enough time to become a good trader.

2ND PLACE: Indra Lesmana FROM INDONESIA

I feel proud to win this contest, I am so glad I`ve joined! I think this is the way I can start trading with confidence. I did not spend much time in the contest, and I think discipline is what helped me succeed - my strategy is being patient and disciplined. The main reason for loss can be negligence in trading, in my opinion. It takes a lot of time to be a good trader and I strive to do my best.

3RD PLACE: Rifat Aldina FROM INDONESIA

I am happy to be an OctaFX winner, it really motivated me. Now I will join every contest organized by OctaFX.

I think the key to success is to be more patient and refrain from getting a big profit in a single trade. Right now I trade by following the candle pattern only, and I have no plans to develop a technique. I can earn $300 profit in one trade and I have also experienced margin call.

I think that to become good in trading a year of training is enough as long as you study hard.

AND CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LAST RUNNER-UP: Dadang Juhanda FROM INDONESIA

I spent a lot of time developing trading skills and learning strategies to win the contest. I will definitely participate in the contest again.

I keep learning and the strategy that I used is Bollinger Band, I also find trendline very useful.

I assume that 3 years of trading experience is enough to become a good trader.
