Emergency response to extreme weather in Indonesia

In response to abrasion and high waves that occurred on 6 – 7 July 2023, the IDEP Selaras Alam Foundation (IDEP) has implemented an emergency response program in Banjar Pebuahan, Jembrana.

The program has benefited 216 fishing families affected by the disaster. IDEP distributed wave barriers, boat repairs, cash vouchers, adequate shelters, and psychosocial support.

This is not our first successful project with IDEP. In December 2022, we joined efforts to provide emergency aid to more than two thousand victims of the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java.

We are grateful to IDEP for their continued cooperation with us.
