  • Dow Jones industrial average (US30)

US30, Dow Jones Industrial Average, or simply Dow. It represents the value of 30 largest corporations registered in the U.S. with Boeing making almost 10% of the index. Throughout its history, Dow has shown steady growth and that is unlikely to change. But if you scale the picture, there are two approaches that you may want to combine to track and predict fluctuations: estimating from top to bottom and estimating from bottom to top. The first approach means you need to keep track of what is going on with the main contributors to the index, how their assets perform, what income they get, and what they expect to get. The reversed approach means you need to keep an eye on how the U.S. economy performs. The global economy, major government decisions, crude oil pricing, and trading relations with China affect it the most.
