Tim Riset Goldman Sachs mengatakan dalam sebuah catatan kliennya bahwa mereka memprakirakan Federal Reserve AS (Fed) akan menaikkan suku bunga sebesar 25 basis poin (bp) di bulan Maret dan Mei.

"Di AS, kami memprakirakan pertumbuhan PDB melambat menjadi 1,4% pada tahun 2023, yang mencerminkan dorongan negatif dari kondisi keuangan yang lebih ketat. Kami melihat probabilitas di bawah konsensus sebesar 35% untuk memasuki resesi selama tahun depan karena berlanjutnya penyeimbangan kembali pasar tenaga kerja dan berkurangnya hambatan dari pengetatan kebijakan fiskal dan moneter."
