GBP/USD Hadapi Support Utama di 1,2275 – UOB

Penurunan lebih lanjut dalam GBP/USD kemungkinan akan menghadapi tantangan yang sulit di sekitar 1,2275 menurut Ekonom Lee Sue Ann dan Pakar Strategi Pasar Quek Ser Leang di UOB Group.

Pandangan 24 jam: “Penurunan tajam -0,87% (1,2414) dalam GBP Jumat lalu mengejutkan. Meskipun sangat oversold, penurunan dapat berlanjut tetapi penembusan 1,2345 kemungkinan tidak terjadi (support berikutnya di 1,2275). Untuk sisi atas, penembusan 1,2465 (resistance minor di 1,2435) akan mengindikasikan bahwa pelemahan GBP telah stabil”.

1-3 minggu ke depan: “Pandangan kami dari Jumat lalu (14 Apr, spot di 1,2525) di mana GBP 'kemungkinan akan naik lebih jauh ke 1,2600' terbukti salah dengan cepat karena GBP anjlok di bawah level 'support kuat' kami di 1,2440 sebelum ditutup lebih rendah 0,87% (penutupan NY di 1,2414). Penurunan 0,87% adalah penurunan 10 hari terbesar dalam waktu sekitar lima minggu. Meskipun terjadi penurunan tajam, masih terlalu dini untuk memprakirakan penurunan GBP yang berkelanjutan. Namun, ada ruang bagi GBP untuk merayap lebih rendah tetapi penurunan apa pun kemungkinan tidak akan menembus dengan jelas di bawah support utama di 1,2275.
