"Survei prospek bisnis Bank of Canada (BOC) memburuk di Kuartal 1. Indikator Survei Prospek Bisnis (BOS) membalikkan tren naiknya dan tetap di bawah rata-rata. Penurunan ini mencerminkan saldo opini yang lebih rendah tentang pekerjaan, investasi, dan ukuran penjualan di masa depan."

"Sementara itu, ekspektasi inflasi satu tahun meningkat untuk kuartal kedua berturut-turut menjadi 3,61% pada bulan Maret, tertinggi sejak Oktober 2023. Namun, ekspektasi inflasi jangka panjang tetap terjaga di sekitar 2% dan memberikan ruang bagi BOC untuk melonggarkan kebijakan lagi minggu depan."

"Pasar memprice-in peluang 70% untuk pemangkasan suku bunga kebijakan BOC sebesar 25 bps menjadi 2,50% pada pertemuan 16 April dan total hampir 75 bps pelonggaran selama 12 bulan ke depan."
