USD/JPY Melonjak, Kemudian Mundur – OCBC

USD/JPY melonjak tajam ke 148,27 semalam seiring dengan perdagangan safe haven yang mereda setelah Trump mengumumkan jeda tarif selama 90 hari. Kami telah memperingatkan tentang risiko short squeeze dalam laporan kami kemarin. Pasangan mata uang tersebut terakhir di level 145,78, catat analis Valas OCBC, Frances Cheung dan Christopher Wong.

Divergensi Fed-BoJ menguntungkan yen

"Momentum harian bersifat bearish ringan sementara RSI turun. Risiko condong ke sisi bawah. Support di level 145, 144,10. Resistance di 147, 148,75 (MA 21-hari) dan 150,30 (MA 50-hari). Mengabaikan kebisingan, kami masih melihat USD/JPY cenderung turun, berdasarkan aliran safe-haven dan divergensi kebijakan Fed-BoJ (siklus pemotongan suku bunga Fed sementara BoJ memiliki ruang untuk melanjutkan normalisasi kebijakan)."

"Pertumbuhan upah, inflasi layanan yang meluas, dan aktivitas ekonomi yang positif di Jepang harus terus mendukung normalisasi kebijakan BoJ meskipun ketidakpastian tarif dapat sedikit memperumit prospek BoJ.
