AUD/USD flat on the day, headed for weekly losses

FXStreet (Córdoba) - As most crosses in the FX market, the AUD/USD has spent the day in quiet consolidation amid thin volume and lack of interest.

The AUD/USD was confined to a range and has moved within a 20-pip range within 0.9320 and 0.9340. At time of writing, the AUD/USD is trading at 0.9333, virtually unchanged on the day but on track to close with a 0.56% weekly loss, the first decline in 5 weeks.

AUD/USD levels to watch

In terms of technical levels, the AUD/USD could find immediate supports at 0.9320 (Apr 18 low), 0.9300 (psychological level) and 0.9285 (20-day SMA), while resistances are seen at 0.9339 (Apr 18 high) and 0.9365 (100-hour SMA) and 0.9389 (Apr 17 high).

USD/JPY glued to opening levels

After reaching a fresh 10-day high during the Asian session, the USD/JPY pulled back and settled around its daily opening levels, where it has spent the last hours.
