Ketua FOMC Powell Akan Menyampaikan Komentar Serupa Kepada Komite Jasa Keuangan DPR

Federal Reserve AS mengatakan pada hari Rabu bahwa pernyataan yang disiapkan Ketua FOMC Jerome Powell untuk Komite Jasa Keuangan DPR pada hari Rabu akan identik dengan yang disampaikan di hadapan Komite Perbankan Senat pada hari Selasa.

"Perekonomian masih jauh dari tujuan ketenagakerjaan dan inflasi kami dan kemungkinan akan memakan waktu untuk mencapai kemajuan substansial lebih lanjut," kata Powell pada hari Selasa. "Kami akan terus mengkomunikasikan dengan jelas penilaian kami terhadap kemajuan menuju tujuan kami jauh sebelum adanya perubahan dalam kecepatan pembelian."

"Kami berkomitmen untuk menggunakan berbagai perangkat kami untuk mendukung ekonomi dan untuk membantu memastikan bahwa pemulihan dari periode sulit ini akan sekuat mungkin," ketua menyimpulkan sebelum menjawab pertanyaan.

Indeks Dolar AS merayap lebih tinggi di awal sesi Amerika dan terakhir terlihat naik 0,15% pada basis harian di 90,30.
