DPR AS Memilih 415-3 Untuk Meloloskan Perpanjangan PPP Dua Bulan

Menjelang batas waktu 31 Maret untuk Program Perlindungan Gaji Administrasi Bisnis Kecil (Paycheck Protection Program/PPP) semakin dekat, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat memilih untuk meloloskan perpanjangan dua bulan untuk program tersebut pada Rabu pagi.

DPR mengesahkan perpanjangan PPP dalam pemungutan suara 415-3, mendorong tanggal kedaluwarsa menjadi 31 Mei dan memberikan otoritas kepada SBA untuk terus memproses aplikasi yang tertunda selama 30 hari setelah itu.

Perpanjangan PPP sudah mendapat dukungan Bipartisan di Senat

Sebelumnya, pendiri dan CEO Small Business Majority John Arensmeyer berkata, “Banyak pemilik usaha kecil, terutama wiraswasta, yang baru saja mencoba mengakses program untuk pertama kalinya, jadi memberi usaha kecil lebih banyak waktu untuk memanfaatkan garis kehidupan penting seperti PPP bukan hanya hal yang benar untuk dilakukan, ini juga hal yang perlu dilakukan."
