US stocks close strong at highs amid earnings

FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street bounced back on Monday after biggest weekly drop since 2012 as investors performed a strong session amid upbeat earnings report of companies such as Berkshire Hathaway and Groupon.

Stocks performed its best day in 2 weeks as majors indexes accelerated in the final hour. The Dow stopped a 4-day losing streak.

The Dow Jones advanced 75.91 points or 0.46% to finish the day at 16,569.28; the S&P 500 added 13.84 pts or 0.72% to 1,938.99; The Nasdaq Composite won 31.25 pts or 0.72% to 4,383.89.
